Amazing Italian coffee in a very artsy neighborhood: UNDEF/NE (5. June 2017)

Frankly, this is probably an area I would never have ended up in if it wasn’t for a friend. The M50 is a space for various artists having their own shops and displaying their art – and while it is rather remote and most cab drivers don’t want to take you there, it is really worth the visit and the effort to get there. Even if it is pouring cats and dogs.

We found this little place (which wasn’t actually that little) called “UNDEF/INE” which displayed quite a few nice pieces of art but you could also get some coffee there.

And the “espresso” (25 CNY) was actually incredibly tasty. Something I haven’t had in Taiwan or China so far – so, you should not only pay the M50 a visit because of the huge variety of interesting pieces of art but also because of the tasty espresso they are offering there.

If you feel like leaving a mark there – you are free to use the guest book and put something in there. My friend whose flight was delayed painted a lovely picture of “how much Air France sucked”. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take a picture of that beautiful drawing. But here’s another one :-)

Overall, I can highly recommend you to pay the UNDEF/NE a visit when you are in the area anyway – but, furthermore, I can also recommend you to just pay the M50 art park a visit as the place is truly lovely and worth seeing!
