Lovely place with good food but make sure you bring cash: Restaurant Pumpstation (9. June 2017)

| September 16, 2017 | 0 Comments

The “white fish strips (180gr) from their fisherman Adrian Gerny” (CHF 26.50) with “potato wedges with sweet chili sauce” (CHF 6.50) are not only quite a large portion but they are also quite tasty. The strips actually have quite a lot of fish in them – only the sauce isn’t quite enough.

The restaurant Pumpstation is a lovely place for lunch or dinner – as you are seated right next to the shore of Lake Zurich and you get to see all the people which are passing by. Just really a lovely time to spend your evening. The service is generally good as they are attentive but you have to be a bit patient as especially during lunch time it is super busy. One important information in terms of preparing your lunch – you can’t book a table in advance. And, you should bring cash as they only accept cash and no credit or maestro cards.
