The perfect location for a refreshing summer dinner: Restaurant Brasserie Freilager (20. Juni 2017)

| September 24, 2017 | 0 Comments

As it was another hot summer day, I decided to go for something light and refreshing like the “melon gazpacho” (CHF 12.00) and it was actually very refreshing and pleasant, better than I had expected.

Frankly, I haven’t tried veal tartare so far but I was definitely ready for it, so I went for the “veal tartare with mashed potatoes, bacon, parmesan cheese, and black summer truffle” (CHF 32.00) and while I did not taste too much of the truffle (and am not such a big fan of it), the tartare itself was actually great in terms of taste and texture.

Service this time was impeccable again – we were always attended, the food came within no time, the menu was served quickly, and it was just comfortable and nice to be there. In terms of wine prices, a glass of “Ojo de Agua, Crianza, 1dl” for CHF 6.50 was also absolutely within the acceptable limits.
