Surprisingly good lunch offering with quick service: Restaurant Atrium (26. June 2017)

| September 28, 2017 | 0 Comments

Whenever I’m in St. Gallen I realize how expensive Zurich really is. For only CHF 26.50 you get a lunch menu starting with a quite decent “mixed salad” and …

… a “baked fish filet with cocktail sauce, asparagus tomato salad and roasted potatoes”. And while the salad was nice in terms of ingredients, the fish strips were actually surprisingly delicious although they could have had more fish and less crust.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable, like you’re in an old Swiss house somewhere in a little town – oh wait, that is exactly it. We’re in St. Gallen. The waiter did a good job attending – the menu was served within no time, the order taking up swiftly and last but not least the menu arrived within about 5 minutes. As the place is relatively popular for lunch, I would highly recommend to book a table in advance.
