Absolutely delicious honey beer: Olde Hansa Medieval Restaurant (31. July 2017)

| November 5, 2017 | 0 Comments

About two years ago I spent a couple of days in Tallinn and given I was close to it (from Helsinki it only takes about 2 hours by ferry), I decided it was time for a day-trip to Tallinn to enjoy that tasty “honey beer (0,5l)” (EUR 5.90) again. The place was this time actually nicer than the last time given it wasn’t raining (respectively we were lucky enough to skip the rain). The honey beer is still sweet and very delicious!

I still can’t get entirely used to the ‘middle age acting’ the servers do. I mean, of course it has its fun element to it but frankly I’d prefer straight forward service. Leave the costumes, leave the decoration and the food but don’t overdo it when it comes to acting. However, if you are in Tallinn you should definitely get a honey beer here – worth a stop.
