Great for afternoon drinking: Newton Bar (19. August 2017)
Sometimes, there are things you just shouldn’t have done. After the wedding ceremony of a dear friend a short break before dinner was planned in so we decided to have some “Moscow Mule” (EUR 11.00) in the vicinity and we ended up at the Newton bar. The Moscow Mules were served quickly and drunken as quickly. Now, they were definitely well made, tasty, just great. However, there is one downside to that … hangovers last longer.
While the Newton bar is quite a special place in the evening where the average audience is 40+ and the females are quite younger (at least it massively looked like whne I’ve passed by during the evening on another weekend), it is quite perfect for a Saturday afternoon. The seats outside are comfortable, the sun was shining but we were in the shade, and last but not least, the heat can still be felt. Therefore, if you are thristy in the afternoon on a warm Saturday afternoon, definitely put the Newton bar on your list.
