Great lunch pizza offering: Restaurant La Bocca City (23. August 2017)

| November 28, 2017 | 0 Comments

I must admit I was quite surprised that you had to book a table in advance, especially given that the place itself is not so fancy. However, I do admit that the pizza I’ve had for lunch was absolutely good. The “pizza Calabrese with tomatoes, mozzarella, spicy Calabrese salami, olives and oregano” (CHF 19.50) and additional “anchovies” (+ CHF 2.00) was flavour-intense and overall very good although a bit oily.

The service was friendly but only had limited attention – it took too long for them to bring the dishes but at least when we’ve ordered the bill, it was brought quite rapidly. Besides that, the prices are absolutely decent – CHF 21.50 for a pizza and CHF 4.90 for 0,5l mineral water are definitely within the limit of ‘reasonable pricing’. But then again, you’re in St. Gallen and not in Zurich which makes quite a difference.
