Rather disappointing lunch experience: Restaurant Molino Select (3. October 2017)
I’m not sure what to think about the Restaurant Molino Select – on the one hand side you get a decent meal for lunch but on the other hand side the service isn’t really satisfying. I went for the “Zuppa al Pomodoro” (CHF 10.50) as a starter which was decent – quite a large portion and somehow also quite thick which was nice.
I decided to go for my favourite pizza and chose a “Pizza Diavola (tomatoes, mozzarella, spicy salami ‘Ventricina’, black olives, onions, garlic, peperoncini, and oregano)” (CHF 24.50). Once the pizza arrived, it was quite good – the application of salami was a bit parsimonious but overall, the pizza was good. What wasn’t that great though was the fact that the table which had arrived after us received their food before us. I mean, we were on a tight schedule anyways and it took them definitely way longer than it should have to bring us the food.
Additionally, somehow they are not that attentive. Friendly, generally yes, but it is not really like you feel like you are very welcome there but rather something like ‘darn, now that you are here, I have to serve you’ which isn’t really a nice way to experience a lunch. So, go, check for yourself, how you like it.
