When the breakfast selection is just weak: Restaurant Sheraton @ Sheraton Salta Hotel (19. October 2017)
The breakfast room in the Sheraton Salta Hotel does definitely look appealing as it is spacious, all is covered in white tablecloths and you have a nice view onto parts of the city. Besides that, the food is exhibited on round tables in the middle of the room making it look nice. And there is quite a bit of things like fruits, juices …
… a variety of breads and sweet pastries …
… tea and coffee …
… cheeses and cold cuts …
… as well as some cereals. But frankly, the selection is rather limited. The bacon wasn’t good at all, the egg was cold, and somehow there is not much of anything available. If you look at the tomatoes above, they were just not restocked. And that did not only happen the first morning but also the second.
There is no service – there is a person walking around, for sure. But she doesn’t really do anything. Neither attend the table, nor clean it really. Both times we had to basically prepare our own table by taking cutlery from another table (where stuff was still partially clean). So, while we had a lovely room upgrade (Junior Suite), the food and beverage section of the restaurant definitely has some work to do!
