Surprisingly good mall food: Restaurant The Butcher Shop & Grill (30. October 2017)

As a European, I am not used to having my dinner in a mall but here, that’s kind of a thing, so there was not much I was able to do in terms of choice but join the team. We went to this place called ‘The Butcher Shop & Grill” and I must admit that the food was way better than expected!

Given I have arrived from Argentina only a couple of days before, I had kind of a spoiled palate when it comes to meat. But the “filet tenderloin, 240gr” (12.40 BHD) with “Black Pepper Sauce” (usually, 0.80 BHD) and “Onion Rings” (usually, 0.80 BHD) as well as a “Side Salad” (usually, 0.80 BHD) was incredibly tender and mouth-watering in terms of taste. So, I must say that I was more than positively surprised!

The “bread & spread” was nothing special but at least nice in terms of selection.

The place itself is not that appealing as it still carries the atmosphere of a mall which has never been appealing to me. If you must dine in a mall, The Butcher Shop & Grill is definitely a feasible option.
