Really not a place I can recommend: Restaurant Persian Garden (6. November 2017)
Although I was rather disappointed the first time, I decided to go again for lunch as there are really no possibilities around that area (or at least very, very few). The “humus” (1.00 BHD) is absolutely fine though – so you can’t go wrong with that.
The “menu salad” is as plain in taste as it should be and luckily the applied sauce is very limited making it a decent salad.
What wasn’t that amazing though was the “Chelo Kebab Kobedeh Meat” (3.00 BD). The rice is definitely fine but way too much – the meat which is hidden somewhere below the rice was really not great though. The minced meat, or probably rather meat parts, put together again don’t really make for a nice and tasty meal. So, I’d definitely recommend you to try something else than that – or to avoid the place.
Additionally, the “Pomegranate Juice” (1.00 BD) was so sugared up that it didn’t have much to do with a pomegranate juice but rather with a pomegranate sugar lemonade. And last but not least, the waiter forgot (we were a party of six) one of the orders. And the beverages only arrived after the starters had been served. I get that it takes some time to prepare the juice freshly but bringing a bottle of bottled water taking more than 20 minutes – a bit weird. To cut a long story short, don’t go!
