Great fresh seafood cooking station: Restaurant Baharat @ Le Méridien City Centre Bahrain (30. November 2017)

The seafood night (24.000 BHD per person) offers quite a rich buffet at the Restaurant Baharat at the Le Méridien City Centre Bahrain – you get everything you need and want from a variety of salads (with somehow very thick salad sauces) …

… to all kinds of seafood …

… including sushi …

… and fresh vegetables …

… a cheese buffet and a lot of different breads …

… and naturally a chocolate fountain respectively quite a selection of desserts …

… and more seafood like paella.

They offer oysters …

… more sushi ….

… and finally my favourite was the fact that they offer a variety of fresh seafood you can pick which will then be prepared for you and served. I went for the ‘sea bream with lobster and scampi’ and I must say that it was incredibly tasty. And it didn’t bug my stomach at all despite a 3 hours flight right after to Mumbai.

So, all in all, while the 24.000 BHD per person are not exactly cheap, they are worth to be paid as the food is good, the selection is vast and the service is decent too. Not outstanding as they for example put the water bottle aside your table but then they’re not quick enough to refill your glass when it’s empty. Else, simple place but nice with a good food selection.
