All you need but not more: Westin Club @ The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City (2. February 2018)
The selection of dishes in the Westin Club is not really breathtaking but you find everything you need for a good breakfast starting from a nice variety of different breads which turns out to be rather limited in terms of actual bread. There are a lot of pastries and the like but if you are looking for bread, there is just one type of bread.
There are some yogurts and the like but it seems to be difficult to access, i.e. at least I did not know how to get there.
What I really liked about the lounge though was the fact that they offered a live cooking station for omelets. Usually, you don’t get that in a lounge and the ham and cheese omelet was actually great.
The selection of fresh fruit is limited but decent …
… but the vegetables and salad selection definitely beats that.
The number of different cold cuts on the other hand isn’t really amazing and the amount of salmon served on that platter is close to ridiculous as you actually end up finishing the whole plate if you just take some for yourself.
And last but not least there are some juices which ultimately do the trick. But again, the selection is not really outstanding.
The lounge is new though, generally nice in terms of interior design and the staff is friendly and helpful. Especially when you’re on crutches!
