Great place for shisha with good service: Nasmat Poolbar @ The Westin Bahrain City Centre (12. February 2018)
Given at some point you’ve tried kind of everything in the hotel, so I decided to enjoy dinner outside with a shisha. The “Caesar salad (Romaine lettuce, turkey bacon, anchovies, croutons and Caesar dressing) with chicken” (5.000 BHD) was okay but the croutons are way too big. Not sure who should enjoy them.
The “lentil soup (pita crisps and lemon)” (4.000 BHD) looked a bit funny at first …
… until the actual soup is poured into the bowl. And then it doesn’t look too appealing. However, it is a solid, heavy but tasty overall. The service is swift and friendly. And the shisha guy does a great job and keeps the shisha refreshed!
The place is quite okay – but ultimately remains a pool bar. So if you are looking for a nice shisha, the Nasmat is great. If you are looking for a proper place to dine, then it is not the right place to go.
