Healthy food, amazing shisha in a great setting: The Courtyard @ Hotel Manzil Downtown (24. February 2018)

| July 23, 2018 | 0 Comments

I love returning to that place – although the service was not at its peak in terms of performance today, the location is still gorgeous. I went for a plate of “Hummus” (31 AED) which was of good quality and was – quite untypically – not served with Arabic bread but with a variety of different types of bread.

The “kale salad (spinach, avocado, pumpkin seeds, pomegranate, Parmesan shavings with grilled chicken)” (61 AED) was surprisingly great. Not considering the time I had to wait to finally get the food, it is not only a great place to enjoy a shisha but also some healthy, lovely food.

It is still my favourite place for shisha though – perfect to relax, lay back, and enjoy a really good, high-quality shisha. If you are lucky and get to be served by the ‘good shisha guy’, he makes sure you will never run out of charcoal.

What I love so much about the place is the fact that it is in a little patio and open air, so you get to enjoy the fresh air outside (which is a quite unique thing for Dubai as you’re not allowed anymore to smoke outside).

If you are a looking for a lovely place for shisha with good, healthy food, The Courtyard is definitely the place to go to. However, keep in mind that you can’t book a table but it is really by ‘first come, first serve’.
