Decent Asian dishes with slow service: Restaurant Wagamama @ Bahrain City Centre (25. February 2018)
Somehow, we end up getting back here given the selection of dishes is decent and the quality is quite good, plus, the service is rather swift. The “Beef Teriyaki Soba (soba noodles in curry oil, mangetout, bok choi, red onion, chilies and beansprouts in a teriyaki sauce, garnished with sesame seeds)” (8.950 BHD) was heavy but of great taste. However, the service that day way definitely far from its best, it took them ages to bring our food and somehow they do not manage to bring the beverages before the food.
The place is simple and you feel generally comfortable there, even if it is a mall food place. The prices are decent for what you get including the beverages, e.g. “Large Repair Juice (Apple, kale, lime, pear)” (2.650 BHD) or “Sparkling Water Large” (2.150 BHD). So, if you are up for a good and swift dinner, the Wagamama is your best option in the Bahrain City Centre.
