Great lunch offering for a swift lunch: Restaurant Mum’s Kitchen Vietnamese Food (26. March 2018)
Sometimes it is good if you rely on someone else conducting research where to go for lunch as you probably would never have walked into the restaurant by passing by. The Mum’s Kitchen Vietnamese Food is one of these candidates. The lunch offering was simple yet delicious. I went for the “red curry with duck” (CHF 18.00) where I was rather positively surprised by the quality of the duck which is often not the best but this time it was different.
The place is super simple in terms of atmosphere but it is compensated for by the friendly service which is also rather swift. And frankly, to get a main and 3 dl of water for CHF 18.00 is really a bargain. Given, I had asked for 5 dl of water instead of 3dl, I was charged an additional CHF 3.50 which is ultimately fair. Overall, I can recommend the Restaurant Mum’s Kitchen Vietnamese Food for a quick lunch.
