Limited selection, incredibly simple but delicious lunch: Restaurant mooi (3. May 2018)
The restaurant mooi is in thus far a gem as they serve quite good food for incredibly low prices for lunch. Part of the daily menu (CHF 21.00) was a “tomato soup” which was freshly prepared and rich in flavour.
The “boiling meat salad with radish, cherry tomatoes and chive, served with small potatoes” was not only much bigger a portion than expected but also tastier than expected. So, all in all, really quite lovely!
It even came with a dessert, a “Saint Honoré” which was quite a treat really you wouldn’t expect on top of it all. So, you get a good meal for lunch for an absolutely decent price. The service – which seemed to be the owner of the place – was friendly and swift. Very solution oriented, making sure you’d feel comfortable.
And the prices are also okay for the beverages, e.g. CHF 3.80 for a glass of mineral water, respectively CHF 5.20 for a “double espresso”. As the place is – apparently – relatively crowded most of the time, it is recommended to book a table in advance.
