Limited vegetarian offering but ideal for a business lunch: Restaurant du Théâtre (29. May 2018)
I’d say this was going to be the week of ‘du Théâtre’. Mainly due to the facts that it is conveniently close, you get to sit outside while not being exposed to a super busy street, the service is swift, competent and friendly, and the prices are super decent for Zurich. Given, I currently can’t eat any meat due to another gout attack, I went for the “menu salad” …
… with “Green Power (cress, asparagus, avocado, edamame, wasabi mayo)” (CHF 26.00). And while the “Green Power” looks super green, as in ‘even a bit sad really’, it is actually quite tasty and also stuffs your belly in a decent way as the ground of the bowl is rice. So, refreshing, satisfying, and generally tasty. That’s how I’d describe the ‘Green Power’. However, “green to a sad degree” is also true when it comes to optics.
What I like a lot about the place is the dedication, speed and friendliness of the staff. They are friendly, smiley, helpful, and swift! Exactly how it should be!
