Swift lunch service with fair dishes: Restaurant NENI @ 25hours Hotel (14. June 2018)
The lunch service in the NENI in the 25hours Hotel in Zurich is exquisite. I was rather tight in time and without me saying that this was the case, the waiter apparently realized this and made sure that I was brought to the table quickly and took up the order swiftly. I ordered the “hummus plate with har bracha thina and pita bread from NENI” (CHF 9.00) which was a rather generous portion. The hummus was good but the tahina was not really necessary.
The “NENI’s caesar salad with parmesan, croûtons and caesar dressing” (CHF 15.00) and “added grilled chicken stripes” (CHF 8.50). The salad was rather dull and the chicken too dry for my gusto.
Overall, the Restaurant NENI offers a good selection of decent dishes, nothing out of the ordinary with swift and friendly service. The prices for the dishes are absolutely okay for Zurich which is not entirely true for the beverages with CHF 9.80 for a litre of water and CHF 6.00 for a “double espresso”.
