Service quality depends on the day you’re visiting: Restaurant Brasserie Schiller (18. June 2018)
The last time I was at the Restaurant Brasserie Schiller I was disappointed of their service as it took them a solid 45 minutes to actually bring anything to the table. Luckily enough, this time, the service was massively better and it was not only swift but they were also attentive and friendly. The “summer salad (leaf salad, mozzarella, strawberry, pine nut)” was incredibly refreshing and especially surprising giving it was part of the regular lunch menu.
The main course, “pappardelle (morels, tomato, root tuber from Belp)” (CHF 29.00), was truly delicious in its simplicity.
The “mango cream with chocolate topping” was good – especially when you broke through the chocolate layer and were able to enjoy the smooth and sweet mango cream below.
Apparently, the quality of the experience highly depends on the day and the quality of the staff. Sometimes it is really horrible, sometimes all is actually quite perfect like today. In any case, you have to make sure to book a table in advance as it is entirely booked out during lunch periods.
