Amazing atmosphere and great service – worth visiting: Sun Terrace @ Hotel Villa Honegg (8. July 2018)
I have heard a lot about the Villa Honegg but never actually made it there but after a short hike around the Bürgenstock, we ended up at Villa Honegg on their sun terrace. On the one hand side, you have a marvelous view onto Lake Lucerne, on the other hand side, the terrace is setup lovely in terms of atmosphere and furniture.
The waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly, and swift and made sure that the orders were taken up quickly. Even with regards to the prices, it is all okay. While the “Gents Swiss Roots Bitter Leon” is a bit expensive for 0.2l with CHF 6.00, the CHF 7.00 for one liter of water is absolutely fair. You get an amazing view with fair service, good drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting – be it combined with a hike or without.
