Good food by the lake and overly jovial waiters: Restaurant Wöschi (18. July 2018)

| December 4, 2018 | 0 Comments

The “beet root carpaccio (goat cheese, honey, rocket salad, nuts)” (CHF 16.00) was a lovely starter – surprisingly refreshing and with a certain sweetness due to the honey. The portion was relatively tiny but actually quite optimal for a starter.

As a main I went for the “handmade ravioli, stuffed with game” (CHF 31.50) which were quite tasty especially since they were cooked ‘al dente’. The stuffing was good but the portion was too small for a main course.

All in all, the restaurant Wöschi is quite fine as it offers good dishes in a nice atmosphere (right next to the lake) and the service is friendy, relatively swift and jovial. However, for my personal gusto sometimes a bit too jovial really.

If you intend to dine here, I would highly recommend to you that you book a table in advance as on a sunny evening, the place gets quite crowded.
