Surprisingly delicious burgers: Restaurant Five Guys (28. July 2018)
I heard a lot about ‘Five Guys’ and have seen the place a couple of times in Dubai but never actually managed to get there and try their burgers. Finally, it was the time to try. The “bacon cheeseburger” (EUR 11.00) is nothing but a pure sin. And a delicious one. The cheese could melt a bit more to be honest but the meat patties are absolutely delicious. What is truly amazing about the Five Guys concept is the fact that you can basically add any of the 9 toppings you want plus up to 6 different sauces.
The “cherry milkshake” (EUR 5.00) where you could also mix like 6 different flavours together, was delicious. It was smooth, had the rich flavour of dried and ‘pickled’ cherries and really just made for a great side to the heavy burger.
The place is simple but the guys behind the counter are caring and friendly.
If you wanted, you could spend your waiting time (which is about 5 to 10 minutes) by eating peanuts. There is an abundance of peanuts available.
All in all, the Five Guys is probably the only burger joint so far I can recommend. Definitely great burgers with a lot of flavour making you enjoy the deliciousness of a burger and its heavy meat patties for breakfast!
