The best way to start a long-haul trip: SWISS First Class Lounge A (18. August 2018)

| December 30, 2018 | 0 Comments

The SWISS First Class Lounge is an experience of its own – especially since you get a super fast security check making traveling as hassle free as you can potentially imagine. Within 30 seconds, I was through and in the lounge. The place itself is rather small to be honest but it is functional and offers just enough space for everyone to be conveniently accomodated.

The heart of the First Class Lounge is a grappa bar – unfortunately, it was 7am when I was there, which is why I decided to not try the grappa.

But it was time to sit down …

… and order a proper “power breakfast (baked farmer’s bread, avocado, cottage cheese, oyster mushroom)” plus a “ham and cheese omelet”. The power breakfast was truly delicious – although it did not look that appealing, it really was quite amazing! The omelet on the other hand was good but definitely not in the ‘top notch’ area, especially since the cheese had more been spread over it than actually kind of worked into the omelet.

The service is definitely exquisite though. If you are flying First Class or have another opportunity to get into the lounge, you should definitely take advantage of it.
