Lovely ice cream truck in the middle of nowhere: Manolo Nieves (24. August 2018)

| January 11, 2019 | 0 Comments

There is one tourist bus in Oaxaca (as the place isn’t that large) and it costs 100 MXN. Worth taking (ideally the first day) as it provides you with a good overview over the city and its main attractions. On the tour, there is a short stop at some church and place (I can’t recall how it was called), and there is “Manolo Nieves” which is a lovely little ice cream truck. I went for their ice cream, called “Manolo ice cream” (40 MXN) which was interesting. No clue what kind of flavor it was but it was definitely interesting.

What I like most about the place is the ice cream truck itself. It is tiny, cozy, somehow appealing and the two ladies working there are friendly and helpful.

So, if you take a tour with the tourist bus, make sure to buy a “nieve” at the “Manolo Nieves”.
