Lovely place but unsatisfactory kitchen offering: Brasserie Keyzer (1. September 2018)

| January 21, 2019 | 0 Comments

The Brasserie Keyzer looked very promising – nice little Brasserie style restaurant, lovely tablecloth, friendly service, and a menu which was really offering potential. However, there was one little issue. After having spent some time looking at the menu and picking something tasty, I tried to place the order with the waiter which let me know that only the snack menu was to be offered as the kitchen had already been cleaned. Something which really annoyed me as I was already very much looking forward to some tasty dishes.

As this didn’t work out, I went for the “Bitterballen (6 pieces)” (8.00 EUR) which were okay but definitely not in the same area as I had expected.

Overall, the Brasserie Keyzer looks promising but I must admit after this little case, I wouldn’t return there. I am of the persuasion that a restaurant should announce that you can only order from the small menu as the kitchen is closed right away if you tell them that you came here to eat something.
