Decent buffet if you need to be here: Restaurant Charles Lindbergh @ Hilton Munich Airport (23. September 2018)
Sometimes you are on the unlucky side of life and your flight gets cancelled short notice so you end up in a hotel over night you never wanted to be in – and for me that was the Hilton Munich Airport. To be fair, nothing against the hotel, solid, fine if you have to stay a night at the airport. However, uncomfortable if you haven’t planned for it. In any case, as a Senator in the Miles & More program you can participate in the buffet at the Charles Lindbergh. That they offer you only a 0,2l drink is kind of ridiculous though.
The buffet on the other hand is quite generous …
… and I liked what I had tried.
So, if you chose to or have to stay at the Hilton Munich Airport, the Charles Lindbergh definitely offers a decent dinner buffet.
The service is generally friendly and helpful but wouldn’t negotiate my request to get 0,75l of water instead of the 0,2l. Well, in any case, things got solved and I had a brief dinner at the Hilton Munich Airport.
