Not really your preferred Italian for lunch: Restaurant Teatro Più (24. October 2018)
Given it became increasingly difficult to find a place which was in walking distance of my current base, it was time to expand into ‘new’ areas. The Teatro Più is currently difficult to find as the building it is located in is wrapped in something due to the construction works. Once you find the entrance, you have to be a bit patient as there is basically noone at first. Only after standing around for 3 minutes, a waiter decided to provide us with some of his attention and seated us.
I went for the “Zuppa di Pomodoro” (EUR 5.00) as a starter which was decent in terms of taste.
The “Pizza Salami (tomato, mozzarella, salami)” (EUR 9.00) on the other hand was rather a disappointment. The dough was fine but somehow the salami topping didn’t really make me happy, especially since the fat pieces in the salami were very visible and kind of looking at you.
The interior has elements you kind of like immediately like the Berkel machine …
… but in general it lacks atmosphere.
The waiter – after the initial waiting time – was actually friendly and rather helpful (surprisingly enough). The prices for the dishes are fair but a bit at the upper end for the water (San Pellegrino; EUR 6.50). For me, not really a place I’d visit again.
