After all these years, still a very solid location for a great start into the day: Restaurant ZEN @ The Westin Grand Munich (2. November 2018)
Whenever I am in Munich I try to stay at the Westin, not only because I used to basically live there for 14 months back in 2011/2012 but also because the Restaurant ZEN offers quite an amazing breakfast deal starting from Asian rice dishes …
… over to the regular European mushrooms and tomatoes …
… sausages and bacon …
… more sausages and beans …
… eggs …
… to a variety of sauces, among them guacamole and the mandatory pretzel …
… as well as “white sausages” …
… a large selection of cereals …
… fruit …
… salad …
… and salmon …
… plus yogurts and enough water …
… enriched by dried fruit …
… and obviously cold cuts and vegetables.
Additionally, the service is friendly and helpful and makes sure your tea is served within minutes after you’ve placed the order, making it, overall, just a pleasant experience. And the omelet station they have definitely adds to this – lovely dishes prepared by friendly people.
