Restaurant EPPO @ Dorint Hotel Hamburg Eppendorf (15. November 2018)

When you have a seminar to attend in the Dorint Hotel, you will have breakfast, lunch and dinner here and the buffet selection is usually quite starting with salads and cheese …

… bread …

… some more little things to get started …

… a relatively immense salad bar …

… and a variety of hot dishes …

… to pick from …

… so you wouldn’t end up hungry.

Besides that, there is a selection of somewhat cold snacks on the side to spice it up a bit.

For dinner, they served a “pumpkin soup” which was surprisingly good …

… followed by “noodles with fresh spinach and a Parmesan rose in the middle”. The noodles were good but some of them were way too short to be pleasant to eat.

For breakfast you’d find everything again ranging from vegetables …

… to müesli and yogurt …

… as well as honey and jams …

… and a huge selection of cereals …

… bread …

… and cold cuts …

… as well as the typical scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and mushrooms …

… potatoes …

… and the typical Hamburg-like fish selection.

So all in all, the food experience at the EPPO isn’t that amazing really but it is definitely decent and you will not walk out of the place hungrily. Frankly, not such a big fan of the hotel as such but the food selection is decent.
