Probably the best fried chicken – I mean garlic: Restaurant Soi Solo Fried Chicken (27. December 2018)

One of my favorite books (well, nowadays, apps), called ‘Where Chefs Eat‘, recommended the Solo Fried Chicken as one of the places were you get the best fried chicken. Now, given it was in walking distance from the hotel, I just absolutely had to try it. And it was worth trying. Not sure it was the best fried chicken I have had but they had garlic with it. And man, let me tell you, this garlic was a blast! Absolutely delicious! Absolutely mouth-watering! Just great!

If you go there, have “half a fried chicken” (130 BHT) and make sure to order “extra garlic” (30 BHT) and “steamed rice” (15 BHT). If you come from Europe you might be a bit surprised at first that you get rice in a plastic bag but it is just sticky rice (careful: very sticky!) and you squeeze it out.

The place itself is not worth coming for the looks but it doesn’t really matter. The food is worth the travel anyways.

If you want to try a delicious fried chicken with amazing garlic on the side, you should definitely try the Soi Solo Fried Chicken! Very much worth it!
