Amazing view onto Wat Arun: Amorosa Bar @ Arun Residence (28. December 2018)

The Amorosa Bar was recommended to me by a close friend – and I must say it is a good recommendation. It is not as touristic (although the majority of people actually were tourists) as other places (like the Sky Bar) and if you are lucky and come at the right time you get to score one of the three to four tables which are facing the Wat Arun (one of the main temples in Bangkok) and it is quite an impressive sight really!

The waiters are friendly and also very helpful all in all – I placed my order and within a few minutes, I had my “Bangkok Sling (gin, cherry brandy, pineapple juice, lemon juice, grenadine, soda on top)” (360 TBH). Now, I would personally not say the drink is worth its money but in combination with the location and the view onto the Wat Arun, it is! Definitely a can do!

Even when you are in the second row, the view is good …

… right? I mean, what is there to complain about that? It is just simply gorgeous! Absolutely loved it!

Just make sure to come early enough as at around 5:30pm everyone is showing up and it becomes more and more difficult to score a table towards the front. Some people even only climbed up the stairs to take a picture and left again. Also a way to do it. But enjoying the view is worth paying the drink!
