Lovely place in the basement of a mall: Food Stall @ Clarke Quay Centre (3. January 2019)

| May 7, 2019 | 0 Comments

When you just sleep till 1pm, you often kind of end up missing your breakfast and given mots places seem to close around 2:30pm latest, it becomes difficult to find something. Last but not least, I found a place which was still open on the ground floor of the Clarke Quay Centre. Not sure how the food stall was called but given all around there were empty plates of that place, I decided to give it a try and went for the “hotplate beef & chicken” (3.50 SGD) which was served in like three minutes. The meat quality is okay but the combination with the egg is surprisingly satisfying. Of course no culinary explosion but in any case comfort food.

And you can see how they prepare the food in this tiny food stall. What is a bit weird, in my personal opinion, is the fact that they don’t even have napkins. I even specifically asked but they just denied that.

Well, interesting, I’d say but hey, you are not there to have a fancy experience but to get some proper comfort food.
