One of the places you wouldn’t visit – but you should: Restaurante III Arcos (7. January 2019)

| May 7, 2019 | 0 Comments

When you are in the middle of nowhere and suddenly become hungry, Google Maps is helping a lot. The III Arcos was located only a few kilometers from the thermal baths in the sea and was easy to get to. You wouldn’t enter the place from outside as it does not look appealing at all. But it is worth entering as you get tasty dishes almost for free. As a starter I went for the “mexilhão grelhado (dose)” (EUR 9.50) which were absolutely delicious.

The “prato dia simples” (EUR 5.25), i.e. the plate of the day, were fried little fishes. This wasn’t that amazing but all in all still a decent meal.

The service wasn’t entirely up to the task as almost all the tables were busy and there was only one waitress. And somehow she was a bit unfriendly at first. When I still gave her a tip in the end, she cheered up tremendously. All in all, the III Arcos is not the most breath-taking place but it is generally nice and you get decent food.
