27. December 2010 – 1. January 2011: Antoinette Room @Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa

| January 1, 2011 | 0 Comments

A good selection of different kinds of food from Continental Europe fits the description of the breakfast buffet at the Antoinette Room @Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa best. You can find everything from a station where they freshly prepare your eggs at your wish to a nice selection of typical English breakfast elements (sausages, hash browns, scrambled egg, beans, bacon) to a selection of fresh fruit, fresh juices, meat and cheese.

Even the bread selection is quite nice. All in all, the breakfast at the Antoinette Room @Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa is quite okay in selection – it could be larger though offering an additional choice of elements like smoked salmon or the like.

The food in general is okay too but somehow you got the feeling they would be able to do more. Apparently, they don’t. All in all, the food is good but doesn’t go beyond that.

The service is friendly and quick (it’s basically just bringing you to your table and serving you coffee and/or tea). The atmosphere is pretty regular as the tables are put really close to each other and the way they set up the chairs to the tables is somewhat weird as everybody is looking the same direction. As the whole breakfast (if you book the hotel without breakfast) only accounts for EUR 6.99 per person, the price is quite fair.

All in all, it’s okay to have breakfast at the Antoinette Room @Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa if you’re there anyway. I wouldn’t go all the way to Attard though if I wasn’t a hotel guest to just have breakfast there.
