Much better service than in most hotel lounges: Club Lounge @ Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf (13. January 2019)
Once you have achieved the level of ‘Globalist’ within the Hyatt World loyalty program you get free access to their club lounges. The one in the Hyatt Regency in Düsseldorf is located on the 18th floor and quite nice in terms of interior design. The view from the 18th floor onto the harbour is quite nice if you manage to get there at a decent time. If you – like me that day – show up briefly before they close the lounge, then everything is kind of empty.
However, with some imagination, you can see that the selection is quite lovely. There is soup, salad, and an assortment of different nibbles and cheese.
For the sweet tooth, there is also something for everyone – not that I tried but you can see there is from sweet to healthy all you potentially want.
The service is friendly and very attentive – contrary to many lounge experiences I have had in the past in other hotels. Therefore, this is actually a nice, unexpected and pleasant surprise compared to many other places. So, if you stay at the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf, which is already in general a nice place to stay at, I can definitely recommend you to relax a bit at the Club Lounge if you’ve managed to achieve the Globalist status.
