Great place to fuel up in the sun before hitting the slopes again: Berghaus Alte Schwendi (25. January 2019)

| May 7, 2019 | 0 Comments

If you catch a sunny day like I was lucky to, then the Berghaus Alte Schwendi is absolutely perfect for a prolonged lunch stop in the sun. It is a bit tricky to reach if you are not familiar with the slopes but once you do so, it is definitely recommendable to get there. There are sun lounger areas which are also served and for only CHF 20.00 you get a “barley soup from the Grisons with sausages”. Not that it is particularly tasty but it is good and the perfect fuel provider for another run on the slopes.

The service is friendly and jovial making sure you have a good time and get to enjoy it to the fullest. So, not so much for the food itself but for the experience as a whole, I can highly recommend you to get a skiing pass, get up the mountain and ride down to the Alte Schwendi! Worth a visit!
