Friendly shisha place with mediocre food: Number One Shisha & Net Cafe (27. January 2019)
Given I have actually not smoked a shisha for quite a while, I was absolutely craving one. As soon as I had arrived to London and my hotel, I decided to hit the streets in search for a café which was open and was serving shisha. With the “Number One Shisha & Net Café” I found that place which was serving in the cold weather on a cold Sunday evening in London.
I was lucky as there was literally one space left when I entered and I asked for a “double apple shisha” (GBP 16.00) which was good. They frequently changed the charcoal of the shisha so one would be able to keep smoking throughout the evening.
Given I had barely eaten all day, I decided to go for the “hummus” (4.00 GBP) and the “halloumi cheese” (4.00 GBP). Frankly, that was not the best decision. The hummus was kind of ‘corny’ while the halloumi was generally okay but also not amazing.
The “tea” (GBP 2.50) was okay. Generally, the place is simple and serves its purpose but is not really a place of atmosphere.
But if you are craving for a comfy place where you can smoke a shisha in peace without getting disturbed, then the Number One Shisha & Net Café is the place to go to.
