Mediocre burgers with swift service: Pilots Bar & Kitchen (28. January 2019)

| May 7, 2019 | 0 Comments

When you haven’t had proper food the whole day, then there is no other option left than grabbing something to eat at the airport. I decided to go for the next best thing right after security at LCY – the Pilots Bar & Kitchen. What I must admit – they are super fast. As it should be. I went for the “Deluxe Burger (grilled beef burger, slow cooked BBQ pulled pork, dill pickles, spiced beetroot chutney, crisp baby gem)” (GBP 18.25) with additional “smoked streaky bacon plus Stilton cheese” (GBP 3.75).

I guess there is a reason why people do not eat voluntarily at airports – the food is just not really great. The burger was fine but far from amazing but the fries were just stroppy and not really appealing. However, a thumbs up for the service being swift and making sure you have everything you need within minutes.
