Lovely Italian place serving tasty food: Restaurant Piazza Saitta (31. January 2019)

| May 7, 2019 | 0 Comments

The Piazza Saitta is less a restaurant than a delicacy store with a nice selection of typical Italian antipasti and a lovely setting with high tables to have something typically Italian to eat. I went for the “tomato soup” (EUR 5.50) which was freshly prepared, a decent portion and just generally tasty.

The “Tris di Pasta” (EUR 12.50) looked a bit tiny at first but was actually quite a portion. Frankly, an interesting combination of tris di pasta as two of them had quite some meat in it (which is something I have not tried in the tris di pasta setting yet) but it was great as the pasta was al dente and the sauces were rich.

The place is atmospheric yet simple, the prices are fair and the service is generally caring and friendly. However, we had to wait quite a bit from our starter to our main course – frankly, not optimal but nothing too bad either. All in all, I can recommend the Piazza Saitta for a quick, tasty, Italian lunch.
