The night they ran out of Chorizo: Restaurant Idéal Café & Weinbar (18. February 2019)

| May 9, 2019 | 0 Comments

When I first visited the Idéal I was positively surprised of the quality and the variety of the dishes – so I decided to return. The “marinated goat cheese with dried tomatoes” (EUR 6.00) was great and it went well again with 0,2l of Fabelhaft (EUR 8.00).

The “Idéalistalat (mixed leaf salad, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, olives, corn, cress and sprouts” (EUR 7.00) with “mozzarella balls” (EUR 2.50) and “Serrano ham” (EUR 3.50) and a “honey mustard dressing” was not only tasty but also better than expected in terms of richness of the salad. You have really kind of everything you need and want and it tastes great.

The prices are more than fair and the service is attentive and swift – and the atmosphere is quite nice as well. The only thing which was a bit of a disappointment was the fact that they had run out of chorizo in red wine sauce – because that was truly delicious last time! Given the place is relatively crowded almost every evening, I would highly recommend you to book a table in advance!
