31. December 2010: Gelateria Café Cordina

| January 1, 2011 | 0 Comments

A nice try of producing real Italian Gelato – but unfortunately not really a successful one. The After Eight Icecream wasn’t too bad and neither was the Amarena but both just don’t come close to the real thing – although one must admit that it’s difficult to find After Eight Icecream in Italy.

Still, the Icecream is eatable and even somewhat enjoyable and is pretty okay in price accounting for EUR 3.80 for 2 scoops (and the scoops are pretty big).

The servant is pretty slow – it took him ages to realize that there were actually people standing at his counter to order some icecream and it took him another century to give us back the change. There, improvement is definitely possible!

Otherwise – as I haven’t seen much other Gelaterie on Malta – it is okay to have an icecream there. But don’t expect anything close to the original!
