Swift service and good food: Restaurant Roter Platz St. Gallen (11. April 2019)

| May 20, 2019 | 0 Comments

I have already once been positively surprised by the ‘Roter Platz St. Gallen’ – and I was happy again. The “pork Cordon Bleu from Appenzell stuffed with Mostbröckli, cheese from Appenzell served with potato salad and cipolotti” (CHF 21.20) was quite a portion and it was actually an interesting combination of flavours. Both, the Mostbröckli and the cheese from Appenzell are rather intense in flavor. However, the combination is intense and rich – and full of flavor. Definitely to my liking.

The interior is simple but comfortable – and the service does a good job making sure you have everything you need. The price is more than fair, I even dare saying it’s cheap. So, if you are looking for a good and swift lunch, the Roter Platz is definitely a place to go to in St. Gallen.
