Good lunch offer but takes too long to be served: Café Bistro Rubens (30. April 2019)

| May 26, 2019 | 0 Comments

The “Mama Mia (ravioli served on a sun-dried tomato sauce, garnished with sage and Parmesan shavings)” (CHF 24.00) took a bit until it was served but it was worth the wait. The pasta was cooked almost perfectly al dente and the sun-dried tomato sauce really gave it a tasty flavor.

The place is simple in terms of design and atmosphere but still comfortable. The service is friendly and relatively swift, i.e. my home-made ice tea (CHF 5.00) re-order took only 3 minutes to be served. Which is exactly what you need if you’re still thirsty in the middle of your meal. All in all, a solid place to enjoy lunch.
