Tasty traditional Swiss dishes in a Swiss atmosphere: Restaurant Hardhof (2. May 2019)

| May 27, 2019 | 0 Comments

The “fried veal sweet bread served on a red wine reduction, served with brama polenta, onion confit and vegetables” (CHF 32.00) was tasty. The polenta had a nice consistency and the sweet bread was smooth and tender just how it should be. The vegetables on the side weren’t special really but all in all it was a good dish.

The interior of the Hardhof is something I like as it is somehow oldish but they manage to give it a vibe of ‘modern’ and comfortable, just how it should be. The prices are more than fair and that is also true for the mineral water (0,5l; CHF 5.00) or a glass of Ripasso (CHF 8.00). It is pivotal to book a table in advance though as else you won’t stand a chance to find a space.
