Typical airport food – not worth trying: Restaurant The City (9. May 2019)

| June 4, 2019 | 0 Comments

It is surprising how much of a difference competition makes. The City is one of two restaurants in the London City airport (LCY) and, therefore, one of the choices you have to pick when you decide to eat something at LCY. There was a little queue so you had to wait for about 10 to 15 minutes until you would get a table. Once it was finally time to sit down and order your food, it took about 15 minutes until my “Caesar salad with roasted chicken breast (grilled chicken, cas lettuce, Italian cheese shavings and croutons with a creamy Caesar dressing)” (18.95 GBP) which is way overpriced! And, the additional bacon I had ordered wasn’t even delivered!

The staff is friendly though and tries to do its best. So, if you have to eat at LCY, The City is okay.
