A lovely bar with lovely drinks but not so lovely service: Britannia Bar (10. May 2019)

| June 5, 2019 | 0 Comments

It isn’t that easy to find a decent bar in Trondheim – unless you’re looking for a pub, it really becomes a challenge. The Britannia hotel offers a nice bar called Britannia bar. You have to be a bit patient until someone ends up at your table to bring you the menu – at least 10 minutes. And the best thing, the bar was empty and there were about 6 waiters.

Once they arrive they explain you the menu which is generally nice and well thought through. I went for the “Garden” (165 NOK) which was nicely refreshing.

What I liked a lot was the description of the drink – there is a whole story behind …

… every single drink there is. Which is something quite unique and lovely.

All in all, the Britannia Bar is a nice little place offering good drinks in a decent setting but they could definitely up their service in terms of attentiveness!
