Very traditional local dishes you’d normally not have for breakfast: Restaurant Fäviken Magasinet (12. May 2019)

After a luscious meal in the evening, it was time to also try breakfast (250 SEK) in the Fäviken Magasinet. The table is preset and you don’t get to pick what you want to eat but the selection is sufficient …

… with a freshly prepared jam …

… a traditional cheese as well as cured elk heart meat …

… the delicious butter and eggs …

… and a freshly prepared, still hot, yogurt. Which is – in combination with the jam – quite lovely!

The breakfast is a very solid experience with good, local products which you will definitely enjoy. It is taking place in the same place as the dinner the previous evening and the atmosphere is still nice in the morning. Although the waiters are different ones than in the evening, they also provide the absolutely perfect service.
