The same as eight years ago: Restaurant US Mex (15. May 2019)
It is years ago since I’ve paid the US Mex a visit – but it was finally time to have a real back flash to my study days! I went for the “Fajitas de Res” (CHF 29.00) which is basically a “do it yourself tortilla set” which come with three sauces …
… and a pan with beef and a lot of vegetables. It still tastes the same. Maybe there is a bit more vegetables on the pan than there used to be but it is still a very solid dish. The place is exactly the same, the service is swift and friendly. Absolutely nothing has changed – and that is a good thing!
The US Mex is exactly what the name says – TexMex food (not very Mexican as a matter of fact) and all in all you get decent dishes – nothing extraordinary of course but if you’re hungry and need a quick fix, this is the perfect place!
